Chakra is a Sanskrit term meaning wheel. What are Chakras? A chakra is a spinning vortex or wheel of energy; spinning inward from the front of your body towards the center point of that chakra on the kunilini and then spinning outward from that same point from your back. By focusing on these energy centers, and understanding the function of each, we are able to balance our energies, augment areas in our lives, and even facilitate healing. Healing with crystals and gemstones is an ancient science. The bodies chakras respond to gemstone healing by allowing the energy of the crystal to connect with the body’s bioelectrical field. The stone’s color corresponds to the particular chakra, revitalizing and clearing imbalances to enable the body to balance and heal.
